Alien Shooter: How to Get Better Star Ratings
Tips for clearing waves faster, learning enemy patterns, and earning higher star ratings in Alien Shooter.
Why star ratings matter
Alien Shooter gives every level a score and a star rating. Clearing a level is the first goal, but going back to earn more stars is where the game gets really satisfying. Each replay shows you how much you've improved.
Learn the patterns early
The early levels are your training ground. Each type of alien moves in its own way. Some come straight at you, while others follow patterns. Those same enemies return in later levels, only faster and in bigger groups.
Instead of rushing through the first levels, pay attention to how each enemy behaves. That knowledge is what lets you survive the harder waves later.
Don't let the screen fill up
A crowded screen is much harder to survive than a clear one. Try to take out enemies as soon as they appear rather than letting them build up.
If you fall behind and the screen gets busy, focus on staying alive first. Move to a safer area, then start clearing enemies again once you have some space.
Movement is half the game
Shooting gets the attention, but moving keeps you alive. Keep adjusting your position as waves come in so you're never an easy target.
Small, steady movements work better than big sudden ones. Big swerves can take you straight into danger you didn't see.
A good replay routine
When you clear a level with a low star rating, play the next level once, then come back and replay the earlier one. You'll often do noticeably better because you've had more practice.
Once you're comfortable, try Space Madness Deluxe for a bigger challenge, or UFO County for a quirkier alien game.
