Pinball PRO: Flipper Tips for Higher Scores
Learn the flipper skills that make a big difference in Pinball PRO, including catching the ball and aiming your shots.
Pinball basics
Pinball PRO is a digital version of the classic arcade table. Launch the ball, use the flippers to keep it in play, and hit bumpers and targets for points. The ball drains if it slips between your flippers, so the whole game is about keeping it alive.
Stop flipping at everything
The biggest beginner habit is hitting the flippers every time the ball comes near. This sends the ball flying in random directions and often straight back down the middle.
Try to flip only when you mean to. A deliberate flip is far more useful than a panicked one.
Learn to catch the ball
This is the single most useful pinball skill. When the ball rolls toward a flipper, hold that flipper up. The ball will roll onto it and come to rest in the corner.
Once it's resting, you have time. Look at the table, decide what you want to hit, then release and flip at the right moment to aim your shot.
Watch for special pickups
Pinball PRO has special pickups that change how the ball behaves for a while. They can open up big scoring chances, so keep an eye on them and try to make the most of them while they last.
Practice tips
Spend one game just practicing catches, without worrying about score. Once catching becomes natural, your scores will jump.
