Pirate Eject: How to Solve Tricky Levels

Stuck on a level in Pirate Eject? Here's a simple method for adjusting your angle and power until you hit the treasure.

The idea behind Pirate Eject

In Pirate Eject, you launch pirates across each level and try to land them on the treasure. It's silly and fun, but underneath is a real physics puzzle. Every shot depends on two things: the angle you choose and how much power you use.

Look before you launch

Before your first shot on any level, take a few seconds to study it. How far away is the treasure? Is it higher or lower than you? What's in the way?

This quick look often tells you what kind of shot you need. A treasure that's far away and low might need a strong, flat shot. One that's close but behind an obstacle might need a high, gentle lob.

Change one thing at a time

This is the most useful tip for any physics puzzle. When a shot misses, only change one thing for your next attempt: either the angle or the power, not both.

If you change both at once, you won't know which change made the difference. By changing one at a time, you learn exactly how each setting affects your shot, and you'll find the right combination much faster.

Watch where your pirate lands

Every miss gives you information. Did your pirate fall short? Add a little power. Did it fly too far? Reduce it. Did it hit an obstacle? Try a higher or lower angle.

Think of each miss as a clue rather than a failure.

When nothing works

Sometimes you'll try small adjustments for ages and still miss. That's usually a sign you need a completely different approach. Try a much higher arc, or a much flatter shot. Sometimes the answer is to bounce off something rather than fly over it.
