Resources such as ammo, health, and power-ups are crucial to surviving this battle. Pick up these resources whenever you can, and especially when you are going to be spending a while in a level.

You should also learn how to time your attacks. Shooting enemies in a group will allow you to take out multiple enemies at once. Save your strongest attacks for large groups of enemies and bosses, rather than wasting them on single enemies.

There are also collectibles scattered throughout this game, but completing your objective should always be your first priority. Once you complete your objective you can always replay it and collect everything you are missing.

If you play in fullscreen, the game will be easier since you can see more of what is coming at you. If you feel like the game isn't fast enough, you can also close any tabs that aren't necessary for the game.
